Saint Lucie West Electrical Services
Saint Lucie West residents get most of their electric service from Florida Power & Light (FPL). FPL has kept its typical residential customer bills among the very lowest of all 55 electric utilities in Florida. It has done so by investing in more efficient power generation technology than its competitors. FPL’s operating costs are the lowest of all utilities in the country with more than 100,000 customers. These improvements saved FPL customers approximately half a billion dollars in fuel costs in 2010 alone. FPL has saved more megawatts than nearly any other utility in the country.
